Zorana Mihajlovic Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy She was born on 5 May 1970 in Tuzla. After graduating from the First Economics School in Belgrade, as a student of the generation, she enrolled at the Faculty of Economics, where she graduated in 1993 and received her doctorate in 2001 in the field of energy and economics. She became Assistant Professor at the University of John Nesbitt in 2008, Associate Professor and Vice-Rector for Science in 2011, and was elected as a full-time professor in 2016. She is the author and co-author of four books in the field of energy and sustainable development. She has published more than two hundred papers on the problems and possibilities of the development of the Serbian energy sector. She worked in the First Economics School, EPS-Elektroistok, at Nikola Tesla Airport and the University of John Nesbitt, where she is still employed. From 2004 to 2006, she was the Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia for Energy. She was the Energy Adviser to Republika Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik from 2010 to 2012. She is the president of the SNS Council for Energy and Mining since 2009, Vice President of the Party since 2012, and since mid-2016, she is the member of the SNS Presidency. From 2012 to 2014, she was the Governor of Serbia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). She was elected Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection in 2012. From 2014 to 2020 she was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure. The portfolio of the ministry, headed by her, has the infrastructure projects in the value of approximately €16 billion. During the same term, she was appointed the President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the RS for Gender Equality, as well as the responsible person on behalf of the Government for the issue of Roma inclusion. She chairs the Joint Government Group of the RS with the task of defining specific measures for improving the position of the Republic of Serbia on the World Bank Doing Business list and the Council of Foreign Investors. She is the President of the Coordination Body for supporting the monitoring of project implementation, investing in the reconstruction and/or construction of clinical health centres. Since 2018, she is a member of the Advisory Board of the World Bank for Gender Equality and Development, the body responsible for reviewing the progress achieved in gender equality at the global level and recommending activities to empower women and reduce the gap between women and men. From the establishment of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure in 2014, more than 200 km of new highways have been built, more than 200 km of railroads have been reconstructed, public enterprise reforms have been started and a major step forward has been made in harmonization of domestic legislation in the field of traffic and construction with the rules applicable in the European Union. A special achievement is the implementation of comprehensive reforms in the field of construction, which resulted in Serbia's progress from 186th to the 10th place in the world for issuing of building permits on the Doing business list of the World Bank and improvement of the overall rating of the country on the list from 91th to 43rd place in three years. In her twenty-five-year professional career, she received more than 200 acknowledgments, charters and recognition, among which the "Reformer of the Year" in the selection of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) is one of the most significant ones. She received this award for the first time in 2014 for comprehensive building licensing reforms, and the second award, "Reformer of 2016", was awarded to her for decade of reforms in this area. She is the winner of the international award "Personality of the Year and the Best Minister for the Year 2018", which is awarded to the most successful personalities in the region, which was handed over to her in July 2018 in Sarajevo. Her hobbies are swimming, carting, flower growing and humanitarian work. She is a member of the Council of the University of Belgrade and the Management Board of the Development Fund. She is the founder of NGO Women's Government, a member of the European Movement in Serbia and the East West Bridge organization. She is the initiator of the initiative "Let Us Employ Thousands of Women in the Rural Areas", which is implemented by the Coordinating Body for Gender Equality in cooperation with Ethno-Network and NALED. She is the mother of one son. She speaks English.

Dr Milan Parivodic is Serbian advokat and principal in law firm PARIVODIC ADVOKATI. He represents and advises international companies in their all business, corporate, and legal advocacy needs. From 2004-2007 served as Serbian Government minister of international economic relations and minister of finance. He is general counsel to the Geological and Mining Association of Serbia (GRAS). Previously worked as partner at Austrian law firm Wolf Theiss, advisor to the Prime Minister of Serbia for economy and law, minister coordinator of the ministry of finance of Serbia, minister of international economic relations of Serbia, lecturer in civil law and property law at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Laws. Dr Parivodic holds Doctorate in commercial law from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Laws; LL.M. in International Business Law, University College London; LL.M. in International distribution agreements with honors, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Laws; LL.B. (with honors) from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Laws; passed Serbian Bar Examination; Serbian intellectual property registered agent examination Dr Parivodić is decorated with the Grand Cross of the Serbian Royal Order of the White Eagle and Kara-George Star of Third Order. Published law books ‘’Exclusive Distribution in the Laws of Yugoslavia and the European Community’’ (Official Gazette of Yugoslavia, pp. 176, 1996); ‘’Law on International Franchising’’ (Official Gazette of Serbia, pp. 380, 2003) and published numerous publications in international and Serbian Law Journals in the fields of International trade, contracts, intellectual property, competition law, distribution law.

 

Mr. Giles Norman Ambassador designate Embassy of Canada in Belgrade, Serbia Mr. Giles Norman (BA Hons, Lancaster University, 1990; LLB, Queen’s University, 1996) joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 1999 after being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Ontario in 1998. His overseas assignments include political officer in Ankara (2001 to 2004), political and trade counsellor in Colombo (2007 to 2009) and first-ever director of the Canadian International Centre for the Arctic Region in Oslo (2009 to 2012), where he also served as chargé d’affaires for 9 months. After Oslo, he was posted to New York City until 2016 as the counsellor (legal, human rights, humanitarian) and legal counsel at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations. At Headquarters, he has held a series of posts in the Legal Bureau and was deputy director of the Maghreb and Persian Gulf Division (2004 to 2007). Most recently, he was executive director of the Defence and Security Relations Division. Mr. Norman is married and has two children.

Prof. dr Aleksandar Jovović zaposlen je na Univerzitetu u Beogradu, Mašinski fakultet, Odsek za procesnu tehniku i zaštitu životne sredine. Član je Odbora čovek i životna sredina SANU, Matičnog naučnog odbora za uređenje, zaštitu i korišćenje voda, vazduha i zemljište Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja, Naučnog društva Srbije i Naučnog saveta Fonda za nauku. Član je naučnog saveta ministarstva nadležnog za poslove zaštite životne sredine u više saziva i tehničke komisije za procene uticaja Ministarstva, Pokrajinskog i Gradskog sekretarijata za zaštitu životne sredine Beograda. Osnivač je Asocijacije za upravljanje čvrstim otpadom, SeSWA, i član nacionalnog saveta. Osnivač je i predlagač Projekta osnivanja Nacionalnog tela, i predsednik Međuresornog koordinacionog tela za utvrđivanje posledica NATO bombardovanja po zdravlja i životnu sredinu. Međunarodni tehnički ekspert za ocenu izveštaja Aneks I i ne-Aneks I zemalja prema Okvirnoj konvenciji UN o promeni klime (UNFCCC), kao i za izradu uputstava Štoholmske Konvencije o BAT/BEP. Učesnik i rukovodilac velikog broja generalnih, idejnih i glavnih projekata, kao i nacionalnih strateških dokumenata, propisa i studija iz oblasti zaštite životne sredine, enegetike i održivog razvoja. U okviru naučnih aktivnosti objavljuje radove u časopisima i na konferencijama međunarodnog i nacionalnog značaja.

Vanja Krsmanović is currently working on the position Performance Drilling Engineer in the company TDE Thonhauser Data Engineering GmbH, Leoben, Austria. Her main responsibilities in the company: analysis against reference data to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of derived reports; optimization and standardization in all stages of the data analysis process, from extraction through to modelling & visualization; collaborates with and provides training and knowledge transfer to business end-users of reports and data sources, developing KPIs, data/report definitions and establishes reporting governance processes, collection, validation, interpretation, and organization of various types of data into relevant reports and/or summaries for designated business objectives. Her previous work experience is in two summer internships in two distinguish international companies Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Muscat, Oman and NIS Gazprom Neft, Novi Sad. She has MSc in Petroleum Engineering, Technical University of Crete (as a scholar of EKO Serbia A.D. Member of the HELLENIC Petroleum Group) and BSc in Petroleum engineering, Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade.

Ruža Veljović, direktorka magazina Diplomacy&Commerce rođena je u Zenici 1978. godine. Studirala je marketing na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Beogradu. Profesionalnu karijeru je započela u Ministarstvu obrazovanja 2002. na poziciji PR menadžera. Dve godine kasnije prelazi u Roaming Electronics, gde je vodila marketing i komunikacije za brend Samsung. Zajedno sa telko operatorima osmislila je i sprovela kampanju za suzbijanje tržišta nelegalnih telefona u Srbiji pod nazivom „Budi legalan“. U medije prelazi 2007, prvo kao brend menadžer za magazine u kompaniji Ringier, a zatim kao direktor sektora marketinga. Na toj poziciji je vodila marketing, istraživanje tržišta i komunikacije kompletnog portfolija kompanije Ringier Axel Springer u Srbiji, Crnoj Gori i BiH. Za kampanju repozicioniranja nedeljnika NIN 2009. godine je dobila UEPS-ovo srebrno priznanje. U julu 2011. prelazi u CorD magazin na poziciju izvršnog direktora. Tokom pet godina na toj poziciji razvija portfolio i uspostavlja saradnju sa ambasadama, stranim privrednim komorama, domaćim i međunarodnim institucijama, Vladom Srbije i zemalja u regionu. Sarađivala je sa organizacijama Naled, FIC, AmCham, DSW i drugim. Istovremeno je pet godina bila član ABC Srbije, organizacije koja se bavi medijskim standardima, gde je kao potpredsednik odbora za medije učestvovala u projektima uvođenja standarda za merenje i analitiku medija, uvođenja Gemius standarda, izrade nacrta Zakona o oglašavanju. U Color Press Grupu prelazi 2016. godine na mesto direktora magazina Diplomacy&Commerce, sindikacije londonskog The Economista. Najdraži projekti su joj spoj konferencija + specijalno izdanje poput The Economist konferencije i izdanja World In, CSR, Green Serbia, te mnogobrojnih publikacija pod nazivom InFocus, koje se izdaju u saradnji sa privrednim komorama. Član je Društva Srbije za Odnose sa javnošću (DSOJ) i Srpske asocijacije menadžera (SAM), a predstavlja kompaniju u nemačkoj, švajcarskoj, grčkoj, hrvatskoj, francuskoj, slovenačkoj i italijanskoj privrednoj komori. U slobodno vreme piše blog o putovanjima i hrani, vodi Facebook stranicu „Život je lep“ i volontira kao komjuniti menadžer pokreta „Gerila baštovani“. Ima mini-maltezera po imenu Mikhail Romanov. Nenad Grubin, B.Sc. geology, a proud member of the Serbian Geological Society and the European Federation of Geologists. The first director of Rio Sava Exploration in the first 11 years of the company's operation. One of the four geologists who discovered the Jadar deposit. Before Rio Tinto, he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade.


Ms Ruth Stewart Ambassador to Serbia Biography Ms Stewart is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and was most recently Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy, Phnom Penh. She has previously served overseas as Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy, Yangon, and Second Secretary, Australian Embassy, Stockholm. In Canberra, she has served in a range of positions, including as Director, ASEAN Section and Director, Myanmar Section. Ms Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in Humanitarian Leadership from Deakin University.

Vesna Prodanović joined Rio Tinto as the new General Manager of the Jadar Project with an engeneering and project managing backgorund that comes from 25 years of experience working in the construction industry. In her long lasting career, Vesna worked in renowned construction companies –Energoprojekt and Bechtel – on design, construction and project implementation as an engineer, coordinator, site and project manager and director on developments in Serbia, Russia, Nigeria and Belorussia. Vesna was also project director in front of the main local contractor on the New copper smelter and sulphuric acid plant project in RTB Bor and is president of Assosiation of consulting engineers ACES. Vesna will lead this world class unique project, important on both national and global level, through the Feasibility study advancing it towards the phase of implementation while keeping the good practice of responsible and sustainable aproach.

Andrea Radonjić je glavni savetinik za medije i komunikaciju za Srbiju u kompaniji Rio Tinto. Bogatu karijeru je počela da gradi nakon što je diplomirala i magistrirala međunarodno poslovanje i diplomatiju na fakultetu DEREE u Atini, The American College of Greece. Korak dalje u njenom obrazovanju bila je specijalizacija iz oblasti medija i advertajzinga na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu. U svet biznisa ulazi 2002. godine kao broker u kompaniji Vernicos Yachts, Atina. Nakon povratka u Srbiju, nastavlja karijeru u oblasti marketinga i prodaje u kompanijama Iksel, Eurobank EFG i Metro Cash&Carry. Više od osam godina radila je kao direktorka marketinga i komunikacija u kompaniji General Motors/ Chevrolet Center Easternem Europe. Preko pet godina u kompaniji Coca-Cola HBC Srbija bila je na poziciji Menadžera za javnu i regulatornu politiku u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori, gde značajno doprinosi unapređenju poslovanja zahvaljujući ekspertizi u brojnim oblastima. Istovremeno, aktivno pružajući doprinos progresu privrednog ambijenta Srbije i Crne Gore, kao član ključnih poslovnih organizacija i radnih tela, poput NALED-a, AmCham-a. Andrea govori engleski, ruski, francuski i grčki jezik.

Miroslav Lutovac, Privredna komora Srbije Savetnik predsednika Diplomirani inženjer elektrotehnike Univerziteta u Beogradu sa preko 35 godina radnog iskustva. Od 1985. do 2002. godine radio u elektroenergetskom sektoru u okviru JP Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) , kao i na projektima u Dubaiu i Kuvajtu. Od 2003. godine angažovan u kompaniji Schneider Electric, a zatim i na projektu IPA Energy Consulting – „Institutional Building in EPS“ i u preduzeću S&R MAGMA. Od 2009. do 2010 direktor JP „Javno osvetljenje“ Beograd, a nakon toga u EPS kao direktor zadužen za strateške projekte i investicije u distribucijama, i rukovodilac projekta „Smart metering“. Dragan Milošević, rođen je 1978. godine u Valjevu. Diplomirao je na Smeru za površinsku eksploataciju, Rudarsko geološkog fakulteta u Beogradu školske 2002/03. godine, a stručni ispit u rudrastvu je položio 2006. godine. Od 2002 – 2007 godine bio je angažovan kao Stručni saradnik na Katedri za površinsku eksploataciju Rudarsko geološkog fakulteta u Beogradu na poslovima izrade i revizije projekata iz oblasti rudarstva. Osnivač je i direktor privrednog društva Terragold&co doo Beograd koje postoji od 2007. godine i uspešno se bavi projektovanjem u rudarstvu, pribavljanjem dozvola za otvaranje rudnika i konsultantskim poslovima. U toku dvadesetogodišnje profesionalne karijere učestvovao je u izradi velikog broja studija, projekata i tehničkih kontrola. Iza sebe ima veći broj radova prezentovanih na naučno-stručnim skupovima, a član je profesionalnih asocijacija Savez inženjera i tehničara Srbije, Savez inženjera rudarstva i geologije Srbije, Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration i Prospectors and Development Association of Canada (PDAC) kao i član borda direktora Geološko-Rudarske Asocijacije Srbije (GRAS).

Vanja Kovačev je freelance PR, Communications & Event Management Senior Expert. U komunikacijama je više od 20 godina. Ima bogato i raznovrsno iskustvo, kako u biznis - tako i u NVO i javnom sektoru. Od gimnazijskih dana je sticala iskustvo na poslovima radijskog i tv voditelja/novinara na TV Sarajevo, sarajevskom Omladinskom radiju, u dopisništvu RTS-a u Vršcu, lokalnim radio i tv stanicama kao i beogradskom Interspeed radiju. Kao važne delove karijere ističe zahtevan posao PR menadžera u gimnaziji Milutin Milanković, zatim u UŠĆE šoping centru, kao i višegodišnji rad u ambasadama Švedske i Norveške. Kao event i PR konsultant sarađivala je i na brojnim projektima ambasada Kanade, Nemačke, Grčke, Turske, Slovenije, Izraela, Belgije, Indije itd. te stranih i domaćih privrednih komora, turističkih organizacija i expat udruženja u Beogradu. Konsultant je za PR i komunikacije beogradskog izdanja prestižnog magazina na engleskom Diplomacy&Commerce, PR menadžer Asocijacije za ekonomsko osnaživanje žena AFA all for all, Dečje filharmonije i Međunarodnog edukativnog programa za razvoj intelektualnih i životnih veština BrainObrain. Osim poslova iz domena PR & Communications, u saradnji sa Color Media Communications, organizuje manifestacije koje promovišu kulturu, privrednu saradnju i turizam stranih zemalja u Srbiji. Tokom 2020. je u saradnji sa istom kućom u ulozi konferansjea i moderatora panel diskusija učestvovala u realizaciji preko 20 uspešnih on line konferencija koje obrađuju važne društvene teme. Rođena je 10.01.1974. u Sarajevu u kome je završila osnovu i srednju školu, Filološki fakultet u Beogradu a specijalizaciju za prevodioce u Upsali u Švedskoj. Govori četiri strana jezika. Voli horsko pevanje, biciklizam, jedrenje, planinarenje i skijanje. Posvećena je ekologiji, društvenoj odgovornosti i humanitarnom radu. Mama je jednog studenta.
